The Halloween season has officially begun, and the excitement can not be contained. Halloween themed movies, snacks, TV shows, anything and everything have become a bonafide seasonal festivity.
What better way to commemorate the beginning of October than a spooky book list. The books on the list are made to either scare you into sleep, or compel you jump with fear. Maybe. Probably not. Either way, you’ll love it.

Stephen King makes the page again with his other book, the Shining. Now if you were a fan of the movie, and you’re an avid book reader you’ll definitely love this one. It’s a shining example of a true, classic, horror novel.
House of Leaves

Takes you on a journey of three different stories all from a different point of view. It’s quite the long novel with it being a whopping 800 pages. If that number scares you, you know it definitely should be read for the month of October.
