November calls for the deep muted colors and neutrals, burgundy, burnt orange, grey, black, this list goes on. But a great way to ease into some fun pops of colors is with your shoes. No need to jump right into a full-blown purple pantsuit with pumps to match, but if you do, you’ll look like you walked off the Tom Ford Runway.
Wearing bright candy-colored shoes, or a simple pastel shade is a way to spice up an outfit without being too overwhelming, especially if you’re a black-everyday-of-the-year kind of person.
There have been so many trends discussed this year; animal print, gingham, bright hues. While Fall 2019 shows are already behind us and we’re now on the pre-fall season for 2020 with “Our Legacy” following suit.
Adding color to your outfit has never been chicer.
Red
Red makes for a bold statement for any fall outfit out your choice. And it brightens up an outfit. A red pump would look great with an outfit with tan, black or white elements. If you willing to push the comfort zone, try wearing the complementary color of red; green. Promise you won’t look like a Christmas tree, or go for an analogous look; red, red-orange, orange and yellow.
Yellow
Yellow is a happy color that is sure to brighten up an outfit. Yellow is best paired with its complementary color, purple. If yellow is too bright for your Fall and Winter outfit plans, try something a bit more muted like mustard, but still just as fun.
Blue
Blue is a moody color that pairs nicely with brown tones. A blue boot or pump paired with a tan pantsuit or dress is a combination to die for. Navys are best paired with other navys as anything else would be against the “fashion rules” but navy does pair nicely with black, heather grey or white. For the daring, go for orange.
Green
Green has been seen everywhere this season, from minty fresh hues to deep emerald shades. It’s a versatile color sure to tie into your wardrobe. Olive green hues pair best with tan, white or grey. A lighter shade of green like mint and pistachio would look beautiful with color like cream, nude, or blush.
Purple
Purple is such a fun color because it definitely adds a playful punch to any grey or black outfit. Purple complements well with anything in the yellow family, and it looks incredibly chic paired with white, tan or dark grey. Keep it tonal by wearing deep plum with a nice purple OTK boot.
