Fashion week is an exciting time where new ideas come to life and color and style flood the streets and runways. There are numerous fashion shows in the world, but the most prominent shows are the “Big Four”; New York, London, Milan, and Paris. Fashion weeks are normally held twice a year in the major fashion capitals around February and March to showcase the fall/ winter collections. Around September and October, the spring/ summer collections for the following year are showcased. The majority of the press goes to the “Big Four” but other shows have gain recognition for leading players in the industry like Copenhagen Fashion Week and Portland Fashion Week.
