The first jean jacket ever created was by Levi Strauss, or the man I call “The King of All Things Denim.” To this day I still thank him. How could I survive without my beloved jacket? I have no idea what I would do without it. Of course it is a bit worn down, but other than that it is aging like a fine wine.
Jean jackets are a common thing to find. You do not have to spend an arm and a leg for them. If you want to however, go right ahead! A local thrift shop, a small boutique, or a department store may have the perfect jacket for you.
When you buy a jean jacket from a thrift shop make sure the seams aren’t loose or torn. Trust me, I have faced many problems where I love a jacket and buy it, but it’s falling to shreds after the first five uses. On the contrary, also be cautious of boutiques and department stores. Even though there may be a high price on that tag that may not mean the quality always matches.
Now another favorite piece of clothing of mine is the jean vest. You can wear them with a long-sleeve, short-sleeve, or tank top. Or even wear them with a turtleneck sweater. That is my personal go to when the weather starts to get chilly, but it’s still not too frigid.
