Today I am sharing a tutorial on how to draw an eye! I broke it down into six steps so it covers the basics, but doesn’t skimp out on the good parts too. STEP 1) Start with a half circle like shape
STEP 2) Draw another half circle shape, a little bit smaller than the top, underneath the top. This will be the bottom of the eye. Make sure that there is enough space so that you can fit the iris.
STEP 3) Draw the Iris by making a circle so that it touches the top part of the eye, but does not overlap the line. The circle should be in the middle
STEP 4) This is where we start forming the eye shape. Add the eyelid to the eye which would be above the upper lash line. The eyelid can change shape depending on the type of eye and preference. Join the lines so you start to get an eye shape. The water ducts of the eye should be seen which is the small area in the bottom left corner of the eye
STEP 5) Start to add the pupil which will be in the middle of the iris, and also this is where the waterline is formed. Draw a line that is the same shape as the lower lash line.
STEP 6) Finished! You made a human eye! Complete your very own eye by adding shading, lashes, shadows, etc. This is the step where you can get really creative and play around with other techniques too
