Feel like this week was an overhaul and you had too much to do, but of course like every week, not enough time to do it? Yes, we know the story all too well. Remember these tips before you start your next week.
-
Write down 3 tasks for each day and 1 major goal for the week.
- Do this on a Saturday or Sunday before you go to bed. Use apps like wunderlist, and taskade to get organized and to have all of your information in one place, and maybe find a nice planner that you can write in. There are plenty of great methods of organizing.
-
Prepare your handbag the night before
- Put your wallet, keys, chapstick, everything in your bag so you are not frantically running around trying to find everything when you start your morning.
-
Prepare your outfits the night before
- That means placing everything you want to wear out so you can see it. I mean the whole shebang; if you want to wear accessories put them out.
- If you put your jewelry on in the bathroom, place all the pieces you’re going to be wearing in the bathroom were you can see them.
-
Clean up your room over the weekend.
- It sounds like it would be a lot to do, but start with the basics. It’ll be worth it.
- Throw away any unnecessary papers, or if you feel like you may need them in the future, use this app to ease your stress. Then discard.
- Bring out the cleaning supplies and get rid of any dust, especially if you have a nightstand, or any surface that would excessively collect dust. It makes the air clean, and you’ll feel instantly gratified.
- Put things back in their place, if a book is supposed to be on the bookshelf and its been in the living room for weeks, it may be time to place it back.
- It sounds like it would be a lot to do, but start with the basics. It’ll be worth it.
