1. Bold Swim
Tiffany Broadway, the creator of BOLD Swim, created her brand to improve the buying experience for women. She discovered that not many swimwear brands were catered to multiple body types, and sought out to create an inclusive brand that also focused on sustainability. All the fabrics are sourced ethically and the designs are created with multiple uses in mind.

3. Belize
Belize was founded in 2016 by two friends Fiona Bansal and Valeska Duetsch with a simple idea in mind; to make cherished pieces. Their experience from working in the industry ( at Stella McCartney’s design studio) gave them the idea to design pieces that will be worn over and over and in your wardrobes for years to come.
Fabrics used in production: Italian crepes, cottons and swim fabrics, hand woven Indian cloths
Process used: Sustainably sourced materials that adhere to EU legislation on water and chemical usage.

4. Jade Swim
Jade Swim was founded by Brittany Kozerski Freeney, a former fashion editor, and stylist. Her L.A. based company sources sustainable fabric with performance benefits that makes you look good and feel good.
Fabrics used in production: Econyl (which is a fabric made from regenerated nylon.) All fabrics they use are OEKO-TEX certified.
Process used: shape retention, swimwear is protected from UV rays, fabric has resistance to chlorine

5. Vitamin A
Amahlia Stevens is the powerhouse behind Vitamin A, a sustainable swimwear brand with a California aesthetic. Founded in 2000, the California native set off to establish a brand that was feminine, modern and effortless; with the laid-back West Coast vibe to match.
Fabrics used in production: EcoLux™, EcoRib, EcoTex, and BioSculpt. All materials are certified to meet the global Oeko-Tex standard for safe textiles.
Process used: Their bags are 100% biodegradable, recyclable, and backyard compostable, locally sourced production in LA
