I always try to be on top of new apps or some sort of social media that is catching on, but normally I can never catch up with the best fashion apps or what to connect with for other bloggers. That is why I decided to come up with some of the best fashion apps that I have found. Most relate to fashion, others are not solely in fashion; however, they are connected in some way or another. The ranking is in no particular order, but just a list of the best fashion apps that I have found. The prices are listed for each app also.
Polyvore (free)
Polyvore is a great free app that allows users to create different types of looks. May it be a cute collage for your dream bedroom, or may it be an outfit that you styled yourself. Polyvore is free to use. You can create an account with a username or password, or you can sign up with Facebook. It is available to use as an app for both apple and android users and can be used on multiple platforms like iPhone, iPad and a desktop.
Liketoknowit (free)
This is what you see on every fashionista’s Instagram or blog. Liketoknowit is an app where users can screenshot any outfit photo that you adore and you can find the prices for the garments and where to buy them. A typical shop your screenshots app. Right now it is just available on the App store but an Android version will probably be in the works.
Poshmark (free)
Poshmark is an app where you buy as well as sell your clothing. It is an online marketplace that sells over 5,000 brands of clothing. I haven’t personally used this to sell clothing, but from people I know it’s an alternative way to make small cash from an app, but nothing to quit your day job over. Poshmark is available on Android and in the app store.
Weheartit (free)
A little bit like Tumblr, but Weheartit is a visual platform where you can make collections of images, may it be yours or others, and like other people’s images. They have a wide range of categories from fashion, beauty, tattoos, travel and many more categories. Weheartit is currently available for Android, iPad, and iPhone.
Stylebook ($3.99 on the app store)
Stylebook is a literally virtual closet. It keeps track of everything for you so you don’t have to! Which is perfect since life gets so extremely busy, and cmon how often do we want to raid our closets? Now it doesn’t automatically organize everything for you, you have to keep it updated, but when it does everything else for you, that really isn’t a bad deal. The price may seem a tad much, but when an app keeps track of your whole closet, I wouldn’t expect it to be free. This app is currently available on the iPhone and iPad.
Hope this was informative and if you have any questions or I got any information mixed up feel free to comment or email me!
Until next time!
